Pritchett Closet Co was founded in 2001 by Thomas Pritchett, a third-generation cabinetmaker who believed that storage should be as considered as any other element of a well-designed home. What began as a small workshop in Red Hook, Brooklyn has grown into a full-service atelier serving homeowners, designers, and contractors across the tri-state area.
Whether we're working directly with a homeowner to bring their vision to life or partnering with a designer or contractor on a larger project, the approach is the same: listen carefully, design precisely, and build something that lasts.
Every installation is drawn from scratch. We don't sell systems — we design and build custom cabinetry, hardware, and storage solutions that respond to the specific architecture, lifestyle, and aesthetic of each project.

Founder & Master Craftsman
Third-generation cabinetmaker. Founded Pritchett Closet Co in 2001 after a decade building custom furniture for Manhattan's top interior designers.
Claire Ashford
Director of Design
Trained at Parsons and spent eight years at a leading NYC interior design firm before joining Pritchett. Leads all client-facing design and specification work.
Marcus Webb
Head of Installation
Twenty years in finish carpentry and custom cabinetry. Marcus oversees every installation personally and holds the team to an uncompromising standard.
